MAIN SITE MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Managing the day to day tasks of the assigned project, to include ensuring RAMS, safe and best working practices are adhered to, site inductions, tool box talks.
* Ensuring health & safety is maintained and monitored by all parties including RAMS.
* Materials and adequate labour are on site in good time with forecasted bi-weekly sheets.
* Keeping up to date with variations and change events to project flagged by reviewing drawings/scope of works, or discussing with sub contractors or client team.
* Managing sub contractors and temp labour on day to day to ensure issues are flagged at an early stage and can be rectified, ensuring work is completed to excellent standard.
* Arranging and programming purchasing of materials with purchasing manager, recording with purchasing system.
* Assisting QS with project evaluations and % complete updates.
* Attending project meetings (site and office) to represent company and ensure project information is kept up to date on changes or evolving information.
* Reviewing the programme and keeping to project timescales.
* Recording site meetings and discussions to be sent to document control team
* Raising RFi for project team to ensure information is available.
* Ensure works are snagged at all stages throughout the project and recorded on project software.
* Project handover checklists are completed.
