Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £70,000 – 95,000 Plus Package

A leading M&E Contractor is actively seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with extensive flagship scheme experience. My client specialise in delivering iconic Commercial, Pharmaceutical & Data Centre projects on behalf of blue-chip Principal Contractors & End-user Clients and following a number of their larger projects being completed, leaving their clients satisfied. They have successfully won several repeats works with these clients and have a great pipeline for the coming years!
To deal with this amazing growth, they are increasing their Commercial team and are looking for an experienced M&E Surveyor to lead these new contracts.
Said individual will need experience managing projects from £2 – £40 million MEP. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is driven to progress as the opening has a great room to rise the ranks and to be able to grow with the business.
Responsibilities
- The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts
- Liaise with the Contracts Managers in the procurement of Sub-Contractor packages and the preparation of the Sub-Contract documents
- Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works
- The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors
- Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets
- Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance.
- Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager.
- preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting.
- Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis
- Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders.
- Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.
