Salary: £60,000 (including additional company benefits)

My client is a market leading Mechanical & Electrical Contracting Company which has focused on delivering high quality installations and maintenance to customers in the commercial offices, residential buildings, education, and airspace facilities across the country. Due to my client having just recently being acquired by a globally leading private equity firm based in the United States, they are experiencing a consistent growth in their pipeline and now require a Project Manager to join the team and oversee a large 5-year project in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career driven and target focused Project Manager to further their career with a rapidly expanding MEP Contractor.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Read, understand, and scrutinise contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Preparation of Contract Technical submissions.
- Preparation of Contract Technical schedules.
- Preparation of Contract Works programmes.
- Attendance at Client / Professional Team meetings, pre and post Contract Award.
- Sub-Contract negotiation and appointment.
- Liaison with in-house BIM / Cad Departments.
- Liaison with Client / Contractor Site Management teams.
- Liaison and direction to Sub-contractor / Specialist Site teams.
- Overseeing CDP requirements and Specialists.
- Preparation of monthly contract reports for Director review and Client issue.
- Preparation of monthly contract applications and account reports.
- Preparation of variations and commercial submissions.
- Management of appointed Project and Site Managers.
- Liaison and management of commissioning activities.
- Client demonstration and handover.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
