Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (including additional company benefits)

Location: West Suffolk

My client is one of the leading expanding mechanical & Electrical Services contractor in the UK currently who take pride in delivering high quality installations and maintenance to customers in the commercial offices, residential buildings, education, and airspace facilities across the country. Due to my client having just recently being acquired by a globally leading private equity firm based in the United States, they are experiencing a consistent growth in their pipeline and now require a Project Manager to join the team and oversee a large 5-year project in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career driven and target focused Project Manager to further their career with a rapidly expanding MEP Contractor.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

• The individual should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience working in a similar position.
• Manage procurement of sub-packages/contracts and materials.
• Liaising with clients over design variations.
• Delegating responsibility to the full site team (including 3^rd party subcontractors).
• Developing and maintaining excellent customer and full site team relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered to a high quality in line with the set specification and budget.
• Guaranteeing health & safety is followed.
• Oversee weekly design, progress, and commercial meetings.

• Preparation of Contract Technical submissions.
• Attendance at Client / Professional Team meetings, pre and post Contract Award.
• Liaison with in-house BIM / Cad Departments.
• Preparation of monthly contract reports for Director review and Client issue.
• Preparation of monthly contract applications and account reports.
• Management of appointed Project and Site Managers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
