Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 basic salary (plus additional company benefits)
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

My client is one of the UK’s leading independent mechanical & electrical building services contractors. Since the early 1990’s, the business has developed several longstanding relationships with multiple blue chip main contractors and consultants through offering cutting edge design, delivery and engineering/ maintenance solutions across the commercial, education, hotel/ leisure, tourism and residential sectors.
Following an exciting period of growth, the business is now seeking a dynamic Mechanical Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee a wide range of complex mechanical schemes from early inception through to final completion. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Leading the complete project team throughout project duration.
- Taking responsibility for the complete project lifecycle (Initial pre-construction, design delivery, commissioning & final account/ handover).
- Working in conjunction with the pre-construction & commercial team to produce/ agree programme.
- Attend pre-order & weekly progress meetings.
- Review all technical mechanical aspects of system proposals.
- Oversee & sign off invoices.
- Control installation ad commissioning activities.
- Prepare & submit applications/ variations.
- Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with programme/ budget.
