Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor- Liverpool Street – Up to £54,000 per annum
A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work for an established building services company. My client is looking for a Hands-on Supervisor to be based a short walk from London Liverpool Street Station.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a small maintenance team and ideally will be from a strong mechanical engineering background with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. The role is 60 / 40 hands on split and the ideal candidate will hold previous Lead or Supervisory experience. Working with the client on site, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following supervisory and hands on tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Account Manager in with the “day to day” running of the contract
- Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s alongside the Account Manager
- Arrange specialist sub-contractors
- Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Account Manager)
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
- Attend client meetings if required
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Carry out hands on M&E / Fabric maintenance (Hands on / Supervisory)
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
Hours of Work & Salary
- Up to £54,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week) – 08:00 – 17:00
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Requirements
- Mechanical qualifications – NVQ or City & Guilds LV 3
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
