Junior Contract Manager | Facilities & Commercial Building Maintenance | Electrical Bias | £60,000 + Overtime | Mon – Fri, 8am – 5pm
Due to our client’s recent contract wins, we are seeking a Junior Contract Manager with experience in commercial building maintenance/facilities management.
THE JOB
A Junior Contract Manager is required to deliver a building maintenance contract to 5 small commercial office buildings in the City of London, overseeing a team of 10, including engineers and contract support.
The buildings have critical elements requiring experience with building shutdowns and HV/LV switching.
This is a great opportunity for an established Contract Manager, or an Operations Manager/Senior Supervisor looking for the next step in their career.
- Establishment and day-to-day management of PPM systems.
- Providing leadership and assistance to a team of 8 Engineers in delivering electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance.
- Overall management of permanent/temporary workers, and subcontractors.
- Management and control of budgets including revenue and capital expenditure. (c£750k P&L budget).
- Report on service management in association with service level agreements.
- Develop productive client relationships, identifying and implementing new revenue streams.
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- City and Guilds/Apprenticeship qualified – Electrical bias preferred. (Level 3)
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- IOSH – desirable
- HVAP status preferable
- L8 Legionella Awareness
- Good Customer relationship skills.
- Supervisory/Management experience within M&E building maintenance.
- P&L experience is desirable but not essential.

PACKAGE & BENEFITS
This is a permanent position in a well-established building services provider, with opportunities to take part in training courses, such as becoming HVAP.
The role is paying between £55,000 – £60,000, depending on experience. Some overtime will also be available during building shutdowns.
