Head of Technical Services – Commercial Tower – Maintenance

This is a rare opportunity for an engineering leader with extensive experience in property services and critical building maintenance, specifically in large commercial towers.

You will be joining the maintenance arm of a prestigious international asset & property management company, which owns and operates some of the most iconic buildings in major city skylines, all over the world.

As head-of-department for technical services within this 1 million square foot office tower in the City of London, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical and critical systems, the operation of maintenance programmes, and the management of a large in-house maintenance team.

This is a senior, client-side role within an end-user company with an outstanding reputation, low staff turnover, and a notoriously high training budget.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification; Eng.Tech/I.Eng
  • Experience of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems within a large complex property.
  • Membership of professional engineering institutions such as MCIBSE/MIET would be beneficial.
  • Has knowledge of commercial office CAT A & CAT B fitting out.
  • Has previous recent NEBOSH/IOSH experience.
  • Understands ISO 14001/BREEAM-In-Use.

The remuneration for this role is £85,000 – £95,000 per annum, plus a discretionary 10% bonus.
