An exciting opportunity to join an established Building Services company based across parts of Southeast London & Surrey.
GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Mobile General Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a contract in parts of Southeast London & Surrey. The Ideal candidate will have experience in both Mechanical Engineering and Water Treatment and be looking to build on their current knowledge further to gain more experience in commercial building maintenance.
This position would be ideal for an engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return the company are offering a competitive salary up to £30,000 + Van & Fuel Card with a route into further career progression.
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Planned and Reactive maintenance
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors
- AHU, FCU- Servicing
- Plumbing – Flushing, temperature checks, etc
- Water Treatment – L8
- Emergency lighting tests
- Fire alarm testing
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
Hours of Work & Package Information
- Basic Salary of up to £30,000
- 1 in 10 Call Out Rota – £100 per week standby allowance
- Monday – Friday – 08:00am – 16:30pm
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Company Van & Fuel Card
- Full company uniform
Requirements
- A qualification/ understanding of Legionella/ L8 (Desirable)
- IOSH (Desirable)
- Multi-skilled Maintenance
