Rate: £38,000 – £45,000 plus package

My client is seeking an aspiring & career driven Electrician to be based on their flagship commercial fit out projects in Central London.
Having recently secured a long-term contract with a key tier one developer worth over £100 million in projects. They are actively looking for a client facing and technically strong Electrician. This role is a great opportunity for an aspiring Electrician to join a reputable business who offer the progression into project management over the coming years.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Undertake site surveys, either alone or with the clients to establish their requirements.
- Provide information from surveys to Contracts managers.
- Provide professional assessments to the Contracts managers and clients.
- Possess a working knowledge of lighting control systems such as Dali and Exor.
- Possess working knowledge of IEE regulations, City & Guilds 2360 and 2382 qualifications, and inspection and testing certificate (2391).
- Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
- Have a passion for producing good standards of work to ensure repeat business.
- Uses a working knowledge of electrical systems including Wiring, Containment, fault-finding on existing systems.
- Installs new electrical systems, including lighting and small power, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
- Provide testing and inspection to all installations.
- To Identify damaged or old electrical components
- Restoring and changing fuse boxes, switches, and sockets
- Complying with local and national safety regulations
