My client are looking for a Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their long standing team. About the role:
Working in a varied role within the design department your daily duties will include:
Completing bespoke AutoCAD drawings of fire sprinkler systems, to applicable recognised standards
You will be inputting and completing, full hydraulic calculations
Coordination with other trades and services, building construction and liaising with clients or Design team members
Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills and Experience Required:
You will have strong experience in fire sprinklers with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail is essential and you must be able to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy of work. You will be comfortable and experienced in using 2D AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Full driving licence is essential as the successful candidate will be required to travel (on occasion) in accordance with their duties. Some knowledge of 3D AutoCAD and LPCB – competency exams are desirable
