This medium-sized privately-owned Facilities Services Company is looking for a Site Manager for one of its Southwest London Contracts. You will be electrically biased, and confident to lead a small team of engineers with both mechanical and electrical engineering skills with a range of experience. Preferably familiar with HV Switching, and Authorised Person qualified, you will ensure maximum efficiency within the workplace while keeping Health and Safety standards high.

Based in a prime a London postcode, this is a static site and a daytime role from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Included Duties

  • Manage a team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Compile quotations to the client and keep a close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants.
  • Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work, and comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records and to ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are all kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the sites M&E Plant and Equipment and Services.
  • Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk and take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager.
  • Ensure all onsite engineering teams are trained and appraised.

Experience and Qualifications

It will be required for any candidate to be educated with one of the following completed qualifications:

  • BTEC / HND / HNC / ONC / Degree in an electrical field.
  • Electrical Apprenticeship. * City & Guilds 236 Parts one & two.
  • City & Guilds 2360 Levels one and two
  • City & Guilds 2367 part 1 & 2368 part 2
  • City & Guilds 2330 Levels two and three.
  • City & Guilds 2357 Levels two and three.
  • City & Guilds 2365 Levels two and three.
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electro-technical Technology.

The package includes Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum increasing 1 day per year up to a maximum of 28 days.
