Senior Operations Manager – Facilities and Building Services

A Senior Operations Manager is required to join a leading facility and building services provider within a rapidly growing business unit, delivering M&E maintenance contracts to a handful of commercial and retail sites across Southern England. Reporting into the Regional Operations Director, this is a high-profile role in a growing business and a great opportunity for the right person.

You will be working for a leading facility and building maintenance service provider which operates throughout the UK and internationally. They are an established company with an impressive portfolio of clients across several sectors. Having recently won some new contracts across London and the South, they are now in the process of growing their team to account for their success.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee and act as point of escalation for the delivery of M&E maintenance to multiple contracts across London and the Southeast.
  • Assist in managing a team of Contract Managers, Project Managers, Supervisors, engineers, and admin staff.
  • Provide technical and operational support to the teams, acting as point of contact for any issues on-site.
  • Act as a point of escalation for any client complaints or queries.
  • Develop a long-lasting professional relationship with the client, with a view to winning contract extensions in the future.
  • Demonstrate plans for growth in regular meeting with senior management.

Experience and Requirements

  • 5+ years in a management position having overseen large teams on high profile sites.
  • Relevant technical qualifications; preferably C&G Level 3 electrical quals or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully managing P&L budgets, including identifying opportunities for extra works and projects.
  • Experience in commercial and/or retail environments on the service provider side is preferred.

Depending on experience this job will pay up to £75,000 + car/car allowance and comes with a generous package.
