Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (including additional company benefits)

Company Description
An industry leading, dynamic Mechanical & Electrical building services contractor located within Central London, are now recruiting a Mechanical Estimator to oversee a flagship commercial development based in Central London. As a result of experiencing consistent growth in recent years due to the dynamic nature of the business they are searching for a Mechanical Estimator to take advantage of the opportunity to further their career alongside an extremely reputable MEP contractor. My client provides services to the commercial, data centres, healthcare, hotel/leisure and education sectors while working alongside market dominant main contractors and developers.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Ideally the individual should have a minimum of 9 years’ experience working in a similar position.
- Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs
- Liaising with clients to gather requirements
- Gathering quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Assessing the level of risk for a project
- Developing and maintaining excellent customer and full site team relationships
- Ensure projects
- Analysing company data, exchange rates and prices using software packages
- Preparing and submitting quotations for work
- Always ensuring health & safety is followed
- attending weekly design, progress, and commercial meetings
- Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts
Remuneration Package
- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record)
